Welcome to NORTHWEB's Privacy Policy. Please read it carefully.
1. Introduction
NORTHWEB places particular importance on the privacy of its visitors and users. This Privacy Policy ("Privacy Policy") describes how NORTHWEB ("we" or "us") collects, uses, stores, and shares personal data, as well as the rights you may have in relation to it. This Privacy Policy applies to all users of NORTHWEB's services, including unregistered visitors, registered users, and subscribers (collectively, "Users", "you", or "your"), and to all NORTHWEB services, including this website ("Website"), the eShopRobot online platform ("Platform"), and related services (collectively, the "Services"). This Policy does not limit any rights you may have under applicable data protection law.
Where this Policy refers to "your Users", it means the customers, visitors, or other end users of the websites or services that you manage through the Platform.
The data controller for personal data relating to the use of the Services is the sole proprietorship MYLONIDIS EMMANOUIL of IOANNIS, trading as NORTHWEB, with registered office at Epanomi, 57500, Greece, VAT No. 101272910. For matters relating to this Privacy Policy or the exercise of your rights, you may contact us at privacy@northweb.gr.
Before accessing or using our Services, please read this Policy and make sure that you fully understand our practices regarding your Personal Data. If you read and fully understand this Privacy Policy and remain opposed to our practices, you must immediately stop using any of our Services. If you have any questions or concerns about this Policy, please contact us at privacy@northweb.gr.

User Information
In order to provide you with the Services, we must collect Personal Information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person ("Personal Information"). - Information we collect from other sources. We may receive Personal Information about you from third-party sources such as: i) security providers, fraud detection and prevention providers, for example to help us screen users associated with fraud; ii) social media platforms, when you log in or sign up using your social media account, in which case we may receive Personal Information from that service (such as your username and basic profile information), and in certain cases we may collect Personal Information from enhancement providers that help us improve our service offering; and iii) advertising and marketing partners in order to monitor, manage, and measure our advertising campaigns.
Information about our Users' users
We may also collect Personal Information concerning visitors and users of our users' websites or services ("Users-of-Users"), solely for and on behalf of our Users (as further described in Section 6 below).
3. Why do we collect such "Personal Information"
We use your Personal Information for the following purposes:
- To provide and operate the Services.
- To further develop, customize, expand, and improve our Services, based on users' common or personal preferences, experiences, and difficulties.
- To provide our users with ongoing customer service and technical support.
- To be able to contact our Users with general or personalized service-related notices and promotional messages (as detailed in Section 8 below).
- To help us update, expand, and analyze our records in order to identify new customers.
- To facilitate, sponsor, and offer certain contests, events, and promotions, determine participants' eligibility, track performance, contact winners, and award prizes and benefits.
- To analyze our performance and marketing activities.
- To create aggregated statistical data and other aggregated and/or inferred information, which we or our business partners may use to provide and improve our respective services.
- To provide specialized assistance, only at your request.
- To enhance data security and fraud prevention capabilities.
- To comply with applicable laws and regulations.
We use your Personal Information for the purposes set out in this section where:
- Our use of your Personal Information is necessary for the performance of a contract with you or to take steps to enter into a contract with you (for example, to provide you with a website builder, customer service, and technical support).
- Our use of your Personal Data is necessary for compliance with a relevant legal or regulatory obligation.
- Our use of your Personal Information is necessary to support legitimate interests and business purposes (for example, to maintain and improve our Services and the effectiveness of the Platform by identifying technical issues), provided that it is carried out in a proportionate manner that respects your privacy rights.
4. How do we share your "Personal Information"
We may share your Personal Data with service providers and others (or otherwise allow them access to it) in the following ways and cases:
- Provision of services by third parties: NORTHWEB works with a number of selected service providers whose services and solutions complement, facilitate, and support our own. These include hosting and server services, communications and content delivery networks (CDNs), data and cybersecurity services, billing and payment processing services, domain name registrars, fraud detection and prevention services, web analytics, email distribution and monitoring services, session recording and remote access services, performance measurement, data optimization and marketing services, content providers, and our legal and financial advisors (collectively, "Third-Party Service Providers"). NORTHWEB may share the following categories of Personal Information with Third-Party Service Providers for business purposes:
- identifiers, including name, alias, postal address, unique personal identifier, online identifier, IP address, email address, account name, or other similar identifiers;
- commercial information, for example information about products or services purchased, obtained, or considered.
- Law enforcement, legal requests, and duties: NORTHWEB may disclose or otherwise allow access to your Personal Information pursuant to a legal request, such as a subpoena, legal proceedings, search warrant, or court order, or in accordance with applicable law, if we have a good faith belief that the law requires us to do so, with or without notice to you.
- Protection of rights and safety: NORTHWEB may share your Personal Data if we believe in good faith that this will help protect the rights, property, or personal safety of NORTHWEB, any of our Users, any of your Users, or any third party, with or without notice to you.
- Social media features and framed pages: Our Services include certain social media features, widgets, and single sign-on features, such as "Facebook Connect", "Google Sign-in", "Facebook Like", or "Share this" buttons, as well as other interactive mini-programs ("Social Media Features"). These Social Media Features may collect certain Personal Information, such as your IP address or the page you are visiting on our Website, and may set a cookie to enable them to function properly. Social Media Features are either hosted by a third party or hosted directly on our Services. Your interactions with these third-party Social Media Features are governed by their policies, not ours. In addition, our Services may allow you to share your Personal Information with third parties directly, such as through page framing techniques serving content to or from Third-Party Service Providers or other parties while preserving the look and feel of our Website and Services ("Frames"). Please note that if you choose to interact with or share any Personal Information through such Frames, you are in fact providing it to those third parties and not to us, and those interactions and disclosures are governed by those third parties' policies and not by us.
- In connection with a change in corporate control: In addition, if NORTHWEB undergoes any change in control, including through a merger, acquisition, or purchase of substantially all of its assets, your Personal Information may be shared with the parties involved in such an event.
- Upon your further direction: NORTHWEB may also share your Personal Information with third parties for other purposes upon your further direction or with your explicit approval.
5. Where do we store your "Personal Information"?
Personal data of users and of our customers' users may be stored in data centers located in Germany or in other jurisdictions, where required for the proper provision of the Services and/or imposed by law. NORTHWEB is based in Greece and complies with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the applicable Greek and European legal framework in force from time to time.
Third-party service providers of NORTHWEB that store or process your Personal Information on NORTHWEB's behalf are contractually committed to keeping it protected and secure, in accordance with industry standards and irrespective of any lesser legal requirements that may apply in their jurisdiction.
6. "Personal Information" of Users-of-Users
NORTHWEB may collect, store, and process certain Personal Information of Users-of-Users ("Users-of-Users Information") solely on behalf of our Users and under their instructions. For example, each of our Users is able to collect and manage contacts through their Websites. Such contacts are then stored with NORTHWEB on the User's behalf.
For these purposes, NORTHWEB acts as a processor and not as the controller, as those terms are defined under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), with respect to data of its customers' users.
Users who control and operate such websites are considered the controllers of the relevant data and are responsible for complying with all laws and regulations applicable to their collection and use, including data protection laws of every relevant jurisdiction.
You are responsible for the security, integrity, and authorized use of the Personal Information relating to your own users (Users-of-Users), as well as for obtaining consent, permissions, and providing any required data subject rights and relevant processing notices required for the collection and use of such Personal Information.
NORTHWEB cannot provide legal advice to Users or Users-of-Users; however, we recommend that all Users publish and maintain clear and comprehensive privacy policies on their users' Websites in accordance with applicable laws and regulations, and that all Users-of-Users read those policies carefully, make sure they understand them, and, where required by applicable law, consent to them.
For more information about how NORTHWEB handles Personal Information of Users-of-Users (which may relate to any specific notices you provide and/or consents you receive from your Users), please see Sections 4, 12, and 13.
If you are a visitor, user, or customer of any of our Users, please note that NORTHWEB has no direct contractual relationship with you with respect to data processed on behalf of its Users. If you would like to submit a request regarding your personal data, such as access, correction, or deletion, please first contact the relevant User, who acts as the controller of that data. If we are asked by the User to take action on such data, we will respond in a timely manner and in accordance with applicable law.
7. Use of cookies and other third-party technologies
We and third-party service providers use cookies and other similar technologies ("Cookies") in order to provide our Services and ensure that they function properly, analyze performance and marketing activities, and personalize your experience.
You can learn more about how we use cookies and similar technologies, and how you can exercise control over them, through our Cookie Policy and your browser settings.
Most browsers allow you to control cookies, including whether or not to accept them and how to remove them. You can also configure your browser to notify you when you receive a cookie or choose to block cookies.
8. Communications from NORTHWEB
Promotional messages
We may use your Personal Data to send you promotional content and messages by email, text messages, notifications on our platform, marketing calls, and similar forms of communication from NORTHWEB or our partners (acting on NORTHWEB's behalf) through such means.
If you do not wish to receive such promotional messages or calls, you may notify NORTHWEB at any time or follow the unsubscribe or STOP instructions included in the promotional communications you receive.
Service and billing messages
NORTHWEB may also contact you regarding important information about our Services or your use of them. For example, we may send you a notice (by any of the means available to us) for the following reasons:
- if a particular Service is temporarily suspended for maintenance;
- in response to your support request or email;
- reminders or warnings regarding upcoming or overdue payments for your current or upcoming subscriptions;
- to forward abuse complaints relating to your Website;
- to notify you of material changes to our Services.
It is important that you are always able to receive such messages. For this reason, you may not opt out of service-related and billing messages unless you are no longer a NORTHWEB user (which can be done by deleting or deactivating your account).
9. Your rights in relation to your "Personal Information"
NORTHWEB considers it important that you remain in control of your Personal Information. Subject to applicable data protection law, NORTHWEB takes steps to enable you to request access to, receive a copy of, update, amend, delete, or restrict the use of your Personal Information.
Before we fulfill your request, we may ask you for additional information in order to verify your identity and for security purposes. We reserve the right to charge a reasonable fee where permitted by law, or to refuse to act on a request if it is manifestly unfounded or excessive, particularly due to its repetitive nature.
If you are a NORTHWEB USER and wish to receive a copy of, access, and/or ask us to correct the Personal Data you have stored with us (whether your own or that of your Users), or you wish to request a list of the personal information (if any) relating to you that we disclosed to third parties for direct marketing purposes, please email us at privacy@northweb.gr. We will make reasonable efforts to respond promptly to your request (unless we require further information from you in order to fulfill it), subject to any legal or other permissible limitations.
Please note that permanently deleting your NORTHWEB account erases all of your personal information from NORTHWEB's databases. Once this process is completed, you will no longer be able to use any NORTHWEB Services, your account and all of its data will be permanently removed, and NORTHWEB will not be able to restore your account or recover your data in the future. If you contact our support channels in the future, the system will not recognize your account and support representatives will not be able to locate the deleted account.
10. Questions and complaints
If you have any questions or concerns regarding the collection, use, or disclosure of Personal Information, or if you believe that we have not complied with this Privacy Policy or applicable data protection laws, please contact us using the details listed at the end of this Privacy Policy.
NORTHWEB will investigate the complaint and determine whether a violation has occurred and what measures, if any, should be taken. We take every privacy complaint seriously and will make every reasonable effort to resolve your complaint promptly and in accordance with applicable law.
You may lodge a complaint with the competent data protection authority if you believe that we did not respond properly to your request or that the processing of your personal data is unlawful. However, we recommend that you contact us first so that we can try to resolve the matter.
11. Data retention
We may retain your Personal Data (as well as the Personal Data of your Users) for as long as your User Account remains active, as indicated in this Privacy Policy, or as otherwise required to provide you with our Services.
We may continue to retain your Personal Data after you deactivate your User Account and/or stop using certain Services, as reasonably necessary to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes relating to our Users or your Users, prevent fraud and abuse, enforce our agreements, and/or protect our legitimate interests.
We maintain a data retention policy, which we apply to the Personal Information we process.
12. Security
NORTHWEB has implemented security measures designed to protect the Personal Information you share with us, including physical, electronic, and procedural measures. Among other things, we offer secure HTTPS access to most areas of our Services. We also regularly monitor our systems for possible vulnerabilities and attacks and regularly seek new methods and third-party services to further strengthen the security of our Services and protect the privacy of our Visitors and Users.
All purchases on Websites managed by NORTHWEB and on our users' Websites are handled by third parties, such as PayPal.com, VivaWallet.com, or other banks, where transmitted information is encrypted. NORTHWEB does not collect, store, or process credit card details.
Regardless of the measures and efforts taken by NORTHWEB, we cannot and do not guarantee the absolute protection and security of your Personal Information, your Users' Personal Information, or any other information you upload, publish, or otherwise share with NORTHWEB or anywhere else. We encourage you to set strong passwords for your User Account and Websites, and to avoid providing us or anyone with any sensitive Personal Data that you believe could cause you substantial or irreparable harm if disclosed.
In addition, because certain areas of our Services may be less secure than others (for example, if you choose to post a support request as "Public" instead of "Private", or if you browse a page that does not use SSL), and because email and instant messaging are not always considered secure forms of communication, we ask and encourage you not to share personal information in any of those areas or through any of those methods.
If you have any questions regarding the security of our Services, you may contact us at privacy@northweb.gr.
13. Third-party websites
Our Services may contain links to other websites or services. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of such websites or services. We encourage you to be aware when you leave our Services and to read the privacy statements of each website and service you visit before providing your Personal Information. This Privacy Policy does not apply to such linked third-party websites and services.
14. Updates and interpretation
We may update this Privacy Policy as required by applicable law in order to reflect changes in our collection, use, and storage practices for Personal Information. If we make changes that we consider material, we will notify you by email or through a platform notice before the change becomes effective. In relation to any updated Privacy Policy, we will inform you as required by applicable law, request your consent and/or take any other necessary measures. We encourage you to review this page periodically for the latest information about our privacy practices. Unless otherwise stated, our most recent Privacy Policy applies to all information we hold about you and your Users in connection with our Services.
Section headings are included for convenience only and do not affect the interpretation of this text.
